Factory #05 Enameling

Enameling is not the same as painting. They used baking ovens to cure the parts during the process. There were 29 ovens in this plant to handle parts such as fenders, radiator shells, hoods, dust aprons and other smaller parts. This photo is from Don Bent’s book: A Place Called Buick.
