  1. My brother and I each own a 1938 Buick Special (mine, a four-door trunk-back, his a business coupe) which we inherited when our father passed. He originally wanted a LaSalle opera coupe, but after finding the trunk-back, he changed his mind; the coupe soon followed. I viewed your story about the 1940 pickup with interest; a family friend, Wayne Busse, owned a four-door 1940 Roadmaster in maroon with brown leather upholstery; I think it was the most beautiful car I’ve ever seen.   2. The last picture shows a picture of the owner (has a cane) and you listed his name as John Berry. This is wrong. The man referred in this picture, and the trucks owner, is my uncle Marv Stephenson.
